Midland to run 3rd car in 2006?

The race is hotting up for Midland’s two 2006 race seats. While BAR tester Anthony Davidson and Minardi’s Christijan Albers appear at the front of the queue, existing Jordan driver Tiago Monteiro reckons he has also staked a claim to hang around. [F1Racing.net]

As always, FormulaF1.com has the scoop. Midland is rumoured to be running a 3rd car next year just for Tiago. It will be painted yellow to honour the Jordan history (even though they started with a green car :twisted: ). Based on the 2005 Jordan, the car has been modified to perfectly suit Tiago’s unique style. We have the first exclusive picture…

  5. msg is clear – Monteiro is one of the worst F1 drivers in the paddock. At least with a slow-poke like brum we wont see a repeat of the 2005 US GP. but the bloke doesnt even deserve a legend like brum…
