Money Talks – Adrian Newey joins Red Bull Racing

It was announced today that Adrian Newey will join Red Bull Racing at the end of February 2006. I find it amazing how much money you can make from selling energy drinks. Whatever happened to good old water? :)

No doubt Newey received a nice boost to his paypacket..

Deep down though I’m sure the decision wasn’t purely financial. Joining a team such as Red Bull Racing will provide him with a new challenge. He’s taken McLaren to the top (in 1998 and 1999) and got them back there again this season (well, almost.. :) ).
