Ferrari 248 F1 - Crap
Once again Ferrari have decided to change their F1 model numbering scheme. This years model gets a really crap model number - 248.
What does the 248 stand for? 2.4L V8 of course! 
Or maybe it’s because they have 2 race drivers, 4 wheels and a V8 in the back? What will next years model be called.. 249? 24807? 2..4..6..8..who-do-we-appreciate? 
Let’s have a look at the names of Ferrari F1 cars since 1990..
- 1990 - F1-90 - cool
- 1991 - F1-91 - cool
- 1992 - F1-92A - cool
- 1993 - F1-93A - cool
- 1994 - 412-T1 - WTF!?
- 1995 - 412-T2 - ditto
- 1996 - F310 - WTF again!?
- 1997 - F310B - ditto
- 1998 - F300 - seriously WTF!?
- 1999 - F399 - ok, getting better with the 99 in there..
- 2000 - F1-2000 - now we’re talking
- 2001 - F2001 - yeah, bring it on!
- 2002 - F2002 - ditto
- 2003 - F2003GA - lovely touch - the GA stands for Gianni Agnelli, former Fiat chairman who passed away.
- 2004 - F2004 - still all good
- 2005 - F2005 - and again
- 2006 - 248 - grrrrr!
