Kimi on Ice
{ Posted on May 26 2006 by dScribe }
The 2006 Monaco Grand Prix marks McLaren’s 40th anniversary in Formula One. They are the second most successful team, not far behind Ferrari. To mark the occasion, Steinmetz created a diamond-encrusted steering wheel for Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya that is being used during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
The show-stopper however, was a full-scale replica of this year’s McLaren F1 car – made out of ice!! 2 tonnes of ice were used to make the replica. Naturally, Kimi ‘Iceman’ Raikkonen got the opportunity to sit in the ice car.

Brrrrrrrrr !!!!!
I wonder if its brakes can take the heat
With Kimi’s luck the engine would still catch on fire..
