Montoya Leaves Formula One

Juan Pablo Montoya will leave Formula One for NASCAR at the end of the year. He will be reunited with his old boss Chip Ganassi. While everyone is talking it up, it’s sad to see the Columbian without a drive in Formula One next year. Rumours of reuniting with Williams, moving to Red Bull Racing or even BMW Sauber have been destroyed.

Juan Pablo managed to come close to the title while at Williams but since then his career has slumped. Whether the competition got better or whether something was brewing behind the scenes, no-one will know. I for one will sure miss the flare and colour. If only Chip Ganassi had a Formula One team… maybe in 2009? ;)
