Hmmm, but working on the same principal, what would explain Honda? Or did I miss something and they are actually improving? I have to admit both the factory Honda & Toyota teams are falling well under my radar these days except for the mysterious disappearing rumours of a replacement for Ralf.

I read in several places Timo Glock (a fabulous name for anyone, doing anything really) was tipped but, given Vettel's performance at Indy I was prepared to crack open the bubbly if they gave him (Vettel) the nod...but here is Ralf, slogging on.

Is it even possible Toyota never heard of a performance clause?

Hi Paula.. I think Ferrari have had some issues this year once they had to address the legality of their supposed movable floor. Now that they've got on top of that they seem to be back up there.

But I do wonder, what would McLaren copy even if they had access to all of Ferrari's information? What works for one car won't necessarily work on another car. But if it was on-track test data it might be of some use..

I don't understand this...if Mclaren have been using stolen information from Ferrari, how come they are doing so much better in races than the Ferraris' (ok, until last Saturday)....can someone explain?

I missed watching this one...thankfully.

I do have to say though that it is nice to see Kimi back in the action. It will be much more satisfying for Mclaren to take the championship(s) this way.

Although it did take Alonso a bit longer to finish, he got back just in time to point Kimi in the direction of the podium...it's been awhile.

All that I can say is to watch for the "Hammer" to hit Silverstone

Well, the boys are back! After letting Mclaren get enough points to ensure an interesting season for the spectators, Ferrari have turned up the wick again. Rumour is Kimi was overheard in the pitlane after the race saying "I sure am glad we are allowed to go over 10000 RPM again!"

You could tell Kimi was out of practise - he dropped the champagne bottle at the end of the podium ceremony and it ended up on the parc ferme floor...
