The stupid safety car rule made a farce of this race.Piquet did not deserve his second place.The pinnacle of motorsport and someone who pits at just the right time (by accident) pushes the more deserving off the podium.WHAT A FARCE!

Great drive by Hamilton though,at least he was on the top of podium where he deserved to be.

Karlos – Have to agree with everything you said there Although I wouldn’t rule out Ferrari – there are certain circuits ahead that may suit them so that will help, but they certainly need some major developments too.

I wonder if the whole spy scandal from last year meant McLaren started the year without certain parts and they’ve now introduced them now that the heat is off them a little bit..?

The fact that McLaren now seem to have the better car, and Lewis can lap about half a second faster than anyone else on normal circuits must have everyone especially Ferrari running scared. Short of a spy scandal / mass damper rule change I don’t think Ferrari can do it.

Elsewhere, Nelson was lucky and had the grace to admit it. But what is happening to Fernando? Every overtaking move that he makes ends up losing him two places. He needs to get a grip on that or his stock will drop even more than it has already. I mean, passion and “all or nothing” attacks are one thing, but when they keep on coming up as nothing or worse than nothing you have to question his decisions.

BMW won’t develop any further this season so Kubica is out of the championship, but Heidfeld seems to be catching up with him within the team.
