2006 McLaren Livery - MP4-21 F1
Once again McLaren are leading the way with a unique and innovative livery this season.
This car literally is a Silver Arrow.
The red wings most likely preparation for McLaren’s 2007 Vodafone sponsorship.
Despite not being a sponsor in 2006, I’m sure West are very happy with the similarity between the old car and the new. Perhaps there were a few dollars thrown McLaren’s way? Or perhaps it’s just that this was and always is a fantastic looking design.
The only bad thing about the new design is the extra red (which is understandable given the Vodafone sponsorship) makes the car look a lot like the Midland MF1.
