Spanish Trophy Really is an Antenna

Thanks to Carlos who pointed out the 2006 Spanish Grand Prix trophy is in fact a reproduction of the Montjuic Telecommunications Tower in the heart of the Barcelona Olympic site. It was built in 1991 by none other than Telefonica - sponsor of both the Renault team and the Spanish Grand Prix.
 

Doornbos Lands Red Bull Drivers Seat - WTF!?

According to f1racing.net Robert Doornbos will replace Christian Klein at Red Bull for the rest of the season. Muermans, Doornbos’ sponsor, has paid 15 million Euros in sponsorship to secure the seat. They previously paid 8 million Euros for him to be the Red Bull test driver.

No Malaysian Qualifying on Ch.10

After surprising us by showing the qualifying for Bahrain early on Sunday morning last week, Channel 10 Australia has done a backflip and will not be showing the qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Even worse, the race itself is going to be delayed until 10:30pm on Sunday night.
